I was ten years old when I first saw Flight Attendants walking together at the airport. I was so captivated by their appearance and intrigued. I asked my mom, “unsa na sila mommy?” and my mom replied, “mga flight attendant na sila nak, ganahan ka ma ing ana puhon? bagay kaayu nimo na nak”. I just smiled at my mom and kept staring at them.
Who would have thought that, years later, I am now one of those Flight Attendants people stare at as they pass through the airport, and that little girl before me is now part of Malaysia Airlines’ first-ever Filipino international Cabin Crew?
As a fresh graduate, having a Bachelor of Science in Airline Management truly gave me the edge and advantage when I applied for the cabin crew position. This course has provided me with the knowledge, experience, and skills I needed to pursue my desired career after college.
I want to thank Indiana Aerospace University for giving me high-quality education, which has helped me become a competent and skilled individual after college. Thank you, IAU, for giving me the wings to fly.
To all Aerospacers aspiring to become a Flight Attendant, start practicing maintaining a positive attitude and mindset in your daily life. Be prepared because the competition in this career is tough. And it will get more challenging once you get the job. Trust in God’s plan, believe in yourself, and never give up. I hope to fly with you all soon! Fly high, soar high, Aerospacers! ✈✈✈
