Grade School

Indiana Aerospace University’s Grade School department offers its students a range of curricular and co-curricular programs aimed at developing their spiritual, academic, technical, and interpersonal skills and values.

Beginning in the 2024-2025 school year, the new MATATAG curriculum will be implemented for Kindergarten, Grade 1, and Grade 4. This curriculum, which is the result of collaborative efforts, was launched by the Secretary of Education and Vice President Sarah Duterte on August 10, 2023, in Pasay City. It serves as a revised curriculum for Kindergarten through Grade 10 in the Philippines and will take effect in the 2024-2025 academic year. The MATATAG curriculum is designed to address various challenges present in the current K to 12 curriculum, such as overcrowded content, misplaced prerequisite learning competencies, and imbalances in cognitive demands.

MATATAG stands for:

Make the curriculum relevant to produce job-ready,

Active and responsible citizens;

TAke steps to accelerate the delivery of basic education services and provision facilities;

TAke good care of learners by promoting learner well-being, inclusiveness learning, and positive learning environment; and,

Give support for teachers to teach better.
