On January 17, during the Fluvial Procession, Indiana Aerospace University (IAU) led the sacred act of flower dropping, a quiet yet profound offering that carried the prayers and hopes of countless hearts. Each petal, tenderly released onto the water’s surface, became more than a mere symbol; it became a prayer afloat, a testament to faith, love, and devotion that has flowed through generations of Cebuanos.
In guiding this cherished tradition, IAU played a role that went beyond ceremony. It became a guardian of memory, a steward of devotion, and a bridge between the past and the present. Those who witnessed it were reminded that faith is living and breathing.
In that moment, the seas and the skies carried more than flowers; it carried devotion, unity, and the enduring spirit of the people whose love for the Señor Santo Niño knows no bounds.
