With systems set and ambitions high, students gathered at the IAU Sports Arena on July 31, 2026, from 8:00 AM to 12:00 PM for the Avionics Technology Flight Path Orientation. Organized by the Aviation Electronics Specialist Organization (AESO) of Indiana Aerospace University, the orientation introduced students to the program’s curriculum, academic expectations, industry opportunities, and the organization’s plans for the academic year.
The program opened with a comprehensive introduction by the Program Chair, Engr. Adriane Joseph Adaptar, who introduced the department’s faculty members, internship opportunities, and career pathways available to students. Participants were also introduced to the student organization, its officers, and the annual calendar of activities, providing them with a clear roadmap for the year ahead.
One of the highlights of the orientation was the inspiring talk delivered by Sir Clynt Louiejie T. Samonte, a Batch Primero 2022 alumnus, Aviation Partnership Philippines–Manila ACE MTP Batch 5 trainee, and Line Maintenance–Avionics personnel. He shared his professional journey and industry experiences, encouraging students to remain committed to continuous learning and reminding them that every lesson and opportunity they embrace today brings them one step closer to becoming competent aviation professionals.
The program concluded with an open forum, giving students the opportunity to ask questions and gain a deeper understanding of the Avionics Technology program. As they begin their academic journey, they now carry a clearer vision of the knowledge, discipline, technical expertise, and dedication required to succeed in the field of avionics.
