IT’S A PLUS WITH APLUS FOR THE AEROSPACERS!
There is no stopping Indiana Aerospace University (IAU) in beefing up its linkages especially with the country’s premier aviation service provider, Aviation Partnership (Phils.) Corporation. In November 2019, the first batch of forty (40) Aerospacers was taken on-board for the General Familiarization Course in Airbus A320. They were trained by the high-calibre technical instructors of Aplus.
The short training is an integral component in the AMT 222: Airframe and Powerplant academic course which is offered on the second year of the Bachelor of Science in Aircraft Maintenance Technology (BS AMT) program. Students enrolled in AMT 222 ought to complete the 40-hour training which comprises lectures and practical activities within a week. More batches from around the two hundred AMT majors will be sent to Aplus Philippines in the days to come.
This is said to be the only initiative among the aviation schools in the country to incorporate practical training in the academic program. IAU continues to innovate in its curriculum by forging industry partnerships so that the Aerospacers, the future aviation professionals in the country, will have already mastered the essential skills during their academic and ground training with the school. Indeed, what more can be true when Amelia Earhart said that you have not really seen a tree until you have seen its shadow from the sky!
